Solution II™ Laser Polyester

Do you have customers with an application that requires laser imaging and durability? What about a need for tear-proof / water-proof documents, labels or signs that are laser printed?

Solution II™ is a white, opaque polyester film that looks like paper. It is tear-proof, water-proof and laser printable. It can be printed offset, flexo and silk screen. Solution II™ has a proprietary surface coating formulation that allows it to accept hot laser imaging. It can also make high quality copies when used in monochrome or color laser copiers, and is heat stable, dust-free and soil resistant. Sun won’t revert it, rain won’t ruin it and the laser image will not smudge, fade or crack in outdoor applications.

Solution II™ has nearly limitless applications. It is currently being used for horticultural tags / signs, hospital patient ID wrist bands, factory tracking tags, archival documents, operating manuals for construction cranes, ID/membership cards, maps in fire engines and police cars, clean room documents, training manuals and more. NASA has certified it as the only substrate suitable for space missions. Astronauts use Solution II ™ for operating manuals attached to their space suits when walking in space. NASA also laser prints Solution II ™ for their training manuals used in buoyancy tanks which simulate weightlessness.

Solution II™ is available in 4 and 7 mil thickness for monochrome lasers as well as 5 mil for color laser imaging. A sample sheet has been included in this mailer. Sheet sizes 8 ?” x 11” and 11” x 17” are stocked. Custom sheeting and slit rolls are also available. Below is the Solution II pricing “guideline” for small quantities of stock sheets. Keep in mind that they offer custom sheet sizes as well as custom slit rolls.
